2007 Elections : Labour's North East Scotland Regional Vote consolidated
Labour's North East Scotland regional vote has been consolidated, ensuring the comfortable return of Marlyn Glen and Richard Baker as Labour MSPs for region in the Scottish Parliament elections.
Labour's regional vote in the North East rose from over 49,100 in 2003 to over 52,100 in 2007.
Ms. Glen said,
" My thanks to all those in West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine who voted on 3rd. May to be represented by Labour Regional MSPs in the Scottish Parliament.
"Richard Baker and I shall continue to work as we have done in the past 4 years, as representatives committed to an even better future for the great cities, towns and communities that are the pride of North East Scotland."
